The Civil War Soldiers Museum was founded in 1991, and exhibits the private collection of Dr. Norman W. Haines, Jr., a local physician, who began collecting as a boy near the Antietam Battlefield.
The Pensacola Room highlights the contributions of Stephen R. Mallory, the renowned Confederate Secretary of Navy, and the handmade First National Confederate flag captured by Wilson's New York Zouaves during the Battle of Santa Rosa Island, October 9, 1861.
View 4,200 square feet of exhibits and explore our nation's most tumultuous period and the unique role Pensacola played during the civil War.
