The ANA Money Museum is named in honor of former Executive
Director and ANA Past President, Edward C. Rochette.
The American Numismatic Association is a nonprofit educational
organization dedicated to educating and encouraging people to study and
collect money and related items. With nearly 33,000 members, the
Association serves the academic community, collectors and the general public
with an interest in numismatics.
The ANA helps all people discover and explore the world of
money through its vast array of programs including its education and outreach,
museum, library, publications, conventions and seminars.

Convenience, a great city and a well-deserved reputation
as one of America's great coin towns yields expectations that this will
be one great convention. Expect more than 1,200 of the world's best coin
dealers, great educational programs, family activities and, of course,
the ANA's signature feature: The Museum Showcase, with exhibits from the
Smithsonian Institution, the Edward C. Rochette Money Museum and private
collections.
Mints from around the world will give visitors a chance to
collect coins from five continents while special tours provide an opportunity
to explore Chicago's great restaurants and cultural attractions.
Through
the discovery of money, America’s largest museum dedicated to numismatics
brings culture to life. The museum explores art, history, science
and much more to promote the diverse nature of money and related items.
The museum annually welcomes over 32,000 visitors. The Museum staff can
provide assistance to collectors and the general public in identification,
numismatic research and photographic services.
