The Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery mission is to provide dynamic and varied
visual arts experiences for the people of southern Utah. The gallery
mounts educational exhibits throughout the year, offers programs related
to its exhibitions, preserves and collects fine art, and serves as a resource
center for the visual arts on the SUU campus and in Cedar City and the
surrounding communities.
The Braithwaite Gallery offers the campus and community an exceptional
venue for well known internationally touring exhibitions as well as work
by our students, faculty, and artists of Utah.
Come and see promising work in drawing, painting, ceramics, and graphic
design by the next generation of artists. Featuring work by selected entrants
from Utah high schools, this exhibit offers younger artists an opportunity
to display their artwork and receive awards and critiques from the faculty
of the SUU Department of Art and Design.
